Health Screening for Students: Every year, SUROVI conducts comprehensive health screenings for school and CSP children. These screenings are performed by professional doctors and health workers and include measurement of height and weight, eye, ear, dental and skin checkups, screening for malnutrition, anemia and other common childhood illnesses, monitoring of physical growth using growth charts. Early detection through these screenings allows timely care, reduces long-term health risks, and ensures children remain attentive and active in school.
Vaccination Support: SUROVI collaborates with government health departments to ensure that all children receive immunizations. The vaccination program protects children from preventable diseases HPV, Hepatitis, Typhoid etc.
De-worming Program: To improve children’s nutrition absorption and overall health, SUROVI conducts de-worming campaigns. De-worming helps reduce stomach infections, improves appetite and enhances children’s concentration and school performance.

Interventions include installation of deep water wells, set up sanitary latrines, awareness building on safe sanitation and hygiene practice. Nutritious Tiffin for School Children: To address hunger and improve nutrition, SUROVI provides nutritious tiffin/snacks to school children. This initiative helps to improve children’s daily nutrition intake, enhance attention span and learning capacity, reduce absenteeism caused by hunger, encourage regular school attendance. The tiffin typically includes healthy items such as seasonal fruits, bread, eggs, cake, sweetmeat or other locally nutritious food options based on availability.
