Legal status of the organization:

The non-profit voluntary development organization SUROVI established under clause 4 (3) of ordinance 46 of voluntary social welfare act 1961 and registered with Department of Social Services, Government of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh in 1993. The organization is also registered with NGO Affairs Bureau, Office of the Prime Minister, Government of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh in 1992 as well as Microcredit Regularity Authority, Government of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh, in the year 2014.
