My name is Mst. Mehenaz Monalisa. My father’s name is Md. Imtiaz Ali and mother’s name is Monoara Ali Sathi. I was born at Moheshpur in Rongpur District of Bangladesh. After my birth, once my father left my mother. My mother found no way to support our family. Then she had decided to send me to my grandmother’s house in the village. My mother came to Dhaka leaving me to my grandmother’s family. She started her job as maid servant in different houses. Once she discovered SUROVI School that provides education to poorest and helpless children free of cost. Apart of this, SUROVI run sponsorship program for the underprivileged and orphan children. My mother communicated with authority of SUROVI. She explained her helpless condition and desire of my study. Considering the situation, SUROVI authority agreed to select me for sponsorship program. With sponsorship support, I started my study at school. I am receiving sponsored money time to time from SUROVI. With the small income of my mother and CSP support I am continuing my education. Now I am a student of grade Ten in Paglarpir School and College in Rangpur of Bangladesh. If Surovi did not help me, it was totally impossible for me to reach up this position. If I did not get this opportunity from Surovi, I had to be a maid servant like my mother. Now I desire to do better in future. I am much grateful to Surovi.
