The program also ensures set up sanitary latrines in rural areas.
What do we Offer?

Safe Water & Sanitation:
We construct sanitary latrines to ensure access of poverty stricken rural communities to a safe sanitation facilities and creating a hygienic health environment. The brick built sanitary latrine ensures a long time and sustainable safe sanitation and health environment for the users. The long term impact includes prevent diarrhea, dysentery, skin diseases, typhoid and reduce child mortality. We are implementing the program in Kurigram, Laxmipur and Sunamgonj district.
Sustainable Water Supply (WASH):
Sustainable Water Supply in Bangladesh project plans to set up deep water wells in the rural communities where people don’t have access to clean and safe water and people don’t have adequate knowledge on hygiene practice.
The proposed project locations under Mymensingh, Noakhai and Chandpur district in Bangladesh are in remote geographical areas where rural inhabitants are severely deprived from accessing clean and safe drinking water. Water of shallow wells is contaminated with arsenic which is not drinkable. People can not afford deep wells due to high cost. People (particularly women) collect water from 30-35 minutes walking distance from their home which is time consuming and laborious. Community people often use pond or river water for washing, cooking and bathing purpose. People often suffer from Diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid fever, E. Coli infection, Hepatitis A and Arsenicosis by drinking polluted water. The cattle and pets usually drink pond or river water and often suffer from water borne diseases. On the contrary, there is very limited hygiene practice revealed in the remote rural locations. The situation creates challenges for stability of the community inhabitants and push them in crisis. Water must be safe, attainable, and affordable. Our solution to sustainability is to install clean water sources in these communities and educate members on best practices for sanitation and hygiene.
The proposed project aims to install 50 deep wells to a deeper surface of water free from arsenic pollution to ensure supply safe drinking water.
Safe and readily available water is important for public health, whether it is used for drinking, domestic use, food production or recreational purposes. Improved water supply and sanitation, and better management of water resources, can boost countries' economic growth and can contribute greatly to poverty reduction.
SDG-6 calls for ensuring universal access to safe and affordable drinking water, sanitation and hygiene, and ending open defecation. It also aims to improve water quality and water-use efficiency and to encourage sustainable abstractions and supply of freshwater.
